Victor Maier leads the Germany and Central Europe business at The Exploration Company, one of Europe's most ambitious NewSpace startups, where he drives commercial strategy and builds institutional and industry customer relationships for Nyx missions. Prior to this, he established the company's global business development and marketing strategy from the ground up as Lead Business Development & Marketing. His career began at Airbus Defence and Space, where he worked as a Systems Engineer on the ESA mission Sentinel-4, later served as Executive Assistant to the SVP for Top Executive Management & Talent Acquisition at Airbus S.A.S. in Toulouse, and co-founded the non-profit initiative "The Moon Race" within Airbus. Victor holds a degree in Geotelematics & Navigation from Munich University of Applied Sciences and an M.Sc. in Robotics, Cognition & Intelligence from TU Munich, and is also a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and Climate Reality Leader.
