Maike Lambarth is an engineer, co-founder and managing director of Cyclize. Saving waste is a central focus in her life. While still studying, she founded her first impact start-up in 2017: the "Raupe Immersatt", Germany's first food-sharing café in Stuttgart. This successful project, but above all its visible impact, sparked a craving for global impact. Since 2019, Maike has been researching plasma reactors for carbon recycling. Pure CO₂ splitting is very energy-intensive, but together with Stephan Renninger, she developed a plasma reactor that can recycle a wide variety of carbon sources from waste streams with record efficiency. Together with her co-founders, Maike Lambarth launched Cyclize to scale this promising technology to the market and contribute to net zero by 2050
