Robert Hook is CEO and Co-Founder of Marble Imaging. Born in the United States, he studied aerospace engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and completed his master’s degree at TU Berlin. After graduating, he spent over ten years at OHB SE in Bremen in various management roles, most recently as CO2M Project Manager for the Copernicus Carbon Dioxide Monitoring mission.
In October 2023, Robert Hook founded Marble Imaging together with Gopika Suresh, Alexander Epp and Raul Borbon with the aim of establishing a leading European Earth observation provider. Some members of the founding team have known each other since childhood – Robert and Alexander have known each other for 25 years from their shared heavy metal days. He developed his first business ideas centred on satellite data with Gopika as long as eleven years ago.
