Maurizio Tamagnini is Founder and CEO of FSI since 2016, managing a €4 billion growth equity fund family - the largest in Europe dedicated to a single country, backed by sovereign wealth funds, the European Investment Fund, and leading institutional investors.
He previously served as Chairman or Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of STMicroelectronics, jointly owned by the Italian and French governments.
Before that, he spent over 20 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as Head of Southern Europe for Corporate and Investment Banking and member of the EMEA Executive Committee.
Tamagnini is Founder and Board Member of Tech Europe Foundation (TEF), member of the International Advisory Board of the Harvard Medical School and the FII Institute in Riyadh, and holds a degree with honors in International Monetary Economics from Bocconi University. He postgraduated at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, N.Y., USA.
