Martin Merz is President SAP Sovereign Cloud and a member of SAP’s Senior Executive Team. He leads SAP’s global Sovereign Services & Delivery organization, bringing together cloud delivery, strategy, and compliance to support governments and regulated industries in their digital transformation. With more than a decade at SAP, he has held key leadership roles in security and risk, including heading SAP’s Government Security organization. His work focuses on enabling trusted, resilient digital systems in complex regulatory environments. Before joining SAP, Martin served in senior positions in the German Armed Forces and allied structures.
