Hanna Hottenrott is Professor of Innovation Economics at the Technical University of Munich and heads the „Innovationsökonomik und Unternehmensdynamik“ research division at the Leibniz-Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung. Her research and teaching focus on topics in the fields of innovation and knowledge economics, with an emphasis on issues related to technological and entrepreneurial change as well as innovation policy. She is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and of the Scientific Commission of the German Science Council.
