Eva Spannagl is part of the GTM Startups Team at OpenAI, leading the company’s startups business across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. She partners with startups to accelerate AI innovation at scale, bringing cutting-edge OpenAI technologies into their products and strategies.
Eva’s career spans the intersection of startups, venture capital, and strategy consulting. She started her career at McKinsey Digital, where she supported corporates in digital transformation and digital strategy, before building the fintech startup Moss through its Series B. Moreover she founded her own VC-backed company in the energy software space and exited it to a strategic player. She also supports the CDTM (Center for Digital Technology and Management) as a lecturer and coach, helping develop the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders.
She holds a degree from ESCP Europe and is based in Munich, where she actively contributes to the local startup and venture community through partnerships with accelerators, universities, and VC funds.
