Alexander Wottrich is Co-CEO of Truma Group GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Putzbrunn near Munich, since 2021 and is the third generation to run the company after his grandfather and mother. It all started with a gas lamp that company founder Philipp Kreis assembled himself in his living room. Today, the Truma Group is an internationally active family business with roots in Truma Gerätetechnik GmbH & Co. KG, which was founded in 1949. Together with the long-established swedish Alde International Systems AB and at a total of eleven subsidiaries, the group develops and produces solutions for heating, cooling, and control in mobile living spaces. The portfolio is complemented by venturing activities and by supporting vehicle manufacturers on their way to electrified and smart vehicle concepts.
